Mr. Ba squeaks past chinese censors
“Mission: Impossible III” was delayed by the Chinese censors for months because of its negative depiction of urban life in Shanghai. Imagine what would have happened or will happen if they find the genuine cell-phone number spray-painted on a wall that offers to make fake documents.
The number is clearly visible over Tom Cruise’s shoulder as he runs past a wall. The number appears on pirated copies of the pic, and bloggers have interviewed the man behind the fake document service, “Mr. Ba.”.
Mr Ba supplies fake IDs, college degrees or drivers’ licenses, which are common in Chinese cities and he is happy he is getting this free publicity and he appreciates J.J. Abrams‘ help in boosting his business.
