Dolly Parton has her own theme park?

Dolly Parton DollywoodI have just discovered that Dolly Parton has had her own theme park since May 3rd, 1986!! (To those who knew about this earlier, I am sorry for being ignorant towards Country Singing Stars and their lives). It is located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, just off US 441 between Gatlinburg and Sevierville.

She is planning to upgrade Dollywood by adding a $17.5 million steel roller coaster called “Mystery Mine” in 2007.

“I’ve had to keep my big mouth shut about the Mystery Mine, but I can tell you now,” Dolly said. “It’s the most exciting thing to come out of these hills in a long, long time.” (Hills?? what is she talking about?)
