Darryl Hannah arrested for climbing trees
Darryl Hannah climbed a walnut tree and refused to come down . She was fighting to prevent a Los Angeles farm from being destroyed. She spent 23 days guarding the tree, much of it spent 40ft up among the branches alongside John Quigley, the organiser of the protest.
Videos show Darryl Hannah raising her fist in defiance as police officers moved in using chainsaws to cut through branches .

Such a shame. As I understand this “community garden” area is South Central, where it will desperately be missed. The land was reported to be sold for over $5M - Big busines, gets you everytime.
