Lady In The Water
Manoj Night Shyamalan is releasing his movie, ‘Lady in the water’, on the 21st of July 2006. Paul Giamatti and Bryce Dallas Howard star in this thriller. Apartment building superintendent Cleveland Heep (Giamatti) rescues what he thinks is a young woman from the pool he maintains. When he discovers that she is actually a character from a bedtime story who is trying to make the journey back to her home, he works with his tenants to protect his new friend from the creatures that are determined to keep her in our world.
The plot of the movie is based on a bedtime story M. Night Shyamalan wrote for his kids.

His movies have gotten progressively worse due to poor execution. Even where their might have been the chance for a fantastic film (Signs and the Village in particular), he either kills it with poorly thought out key details to the story. Maybe he needs to find an editor…
